The Union Wave is coming. Be a part of it.
Workers on temporary campaigns may not have the time to bargain a full union contract, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the same rights and protections as unionized shops.
We’re here to change that.
Our Standard Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) means you will have all the same standard rights and protections as all of our unionized shops. Campaigns and workers can mutually agree to modifications if necessary, but otherwise they will receive a complete CBA package, as is!

Talk to your coworkers about unionizing and urge your candidate to sign the Card Check Agreement.
Reach out to us at campaigns@campaignworkersguild.org for more information and support.
We will never bargain directly with your employer without you.
-
Sign our Card Check Agreement to agree to voluntarily recognize your workers.
If your workers want to be a part of the Union Wave, we will reach out to you with next steps.
Please note that CWG does not bargain directly with employers.
-
When a candidate signs the Card Check Agreement, they agree to voluntarily recognize their campaign staff if the workers show a majority support in favor of unionizing.
Once a candidate signs the Card Check Agreement, we will reach out directly to their campaign staff.
We will never bargain directly with employers.

The Standard CBA is a premade set of articles based on our years of working on campaigns and representing campaign workers.
When your campaign agrees to the Standard CBA, that ensures workers receive standard benefits and protections without long, drawn-out negotiation proceedings.

Joining the Union Wave means you are joining a movement of labor solidarity and workers’ rights. It means you know that no matter how short or stressful a campaign is, workers still deserve transparency, certainty, and respect.
When you join the Union Wave, your campaign becomes unionized without long, drawn-out negotiations that don’t make sense with your election timeline. It also means workers and candidates spend much less time at the bargaining table for the same benefits.
Many candidates say they support labor movements. Yours actually puts it into practice.
